Note: The papers were found with "Aircraft Materials and Processes" Course Syllabus (under Engineering Defense Training, Lawrence Institute of Technology) and and U.S. Navy Aircraft Manufacturing and Maintenance Training Booklets. All were likely used by George P. Martin during extensive wartime course work, likely at Lawrence Institute of Technology in Michigan.
Scope: Wartime Training Course #22 (W.T. 22) was part of the Army Specialized Training Program (ASTP) during World War II. This program aimed to provide advanced education to enlisted soldiers who demonstrated high aptitude (see Louis E. Keefer's book Scholars in Foxholes, 1988).
Contents: Weekly course material for what appears to be an aircraft design and engineering course.
