COVER PHOTO
An Aeronca PC-3 Master, its diminutive 36 hp, two cylinder Aeronca E-113 engine barking its unmistakable staccato, bounces gleefully over the blue water of Lake Union, Seattle, Washington during a pleasant takeoff. For fun flying, the Aeroncas were delightful machines in those troublesome but unhurried pre-WW II years. Circa 1937. Photo by: Gordon S. Williams; Photo Courtesy of: Peter M. Bowers.
