Scope: Periodic newsletter written and published at East Hartford, Conn. by the United Aircraft Corporation "...for its employees: Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, Hamilton Standard Propellers, Vought-Sikorsky Aircraft, United Airport, Export Division and United Aircraft Service Corporation." Primarily includes aviation news, especially related to company products, as well as some internal company news.

Contents: - Issue No. 1 (January 1942, 24 pages): TBD - Issue No. 2 (February 1942, 24 pages): TBD - Issue No. 5 (May 1942, 24 pages): TBD. Includes bi-fold 5.5" x 8.5" insert titled "Fortnightly Letter" of the Connecticut Economic Council (dated 14 May 1942) reprinting a speech by Eugene E. Wilson, President of the United Aircraft Corp.) called "Sentinels of Freedom." The speech discusses "The miracle of aircraft production" and the task ahead to win the war. - Issue No. 6 (June 1942, 24 pages): TBD - Issue No. 7 (July 1942, 24 pages): TBD - Issue No. 8 (August 1942, 24 pages): TBD - Issue No. 9 (September, 24 pages): TBD - Issue No. 10 (October 1942, 24 pages): TBD - Issue No. 11 (November 1942, 24 pages): TBD - Issue No. 12 (December 1942 / January 1943, 24 pages): TBD. Includes two-sided insert page titled "Wishing Won't Win the War" by George McDonald and "reprinted from Boeing News." McDonald was a Boeing Service Engineer who had supported B-17 units in combat and he shared his "blunt assessment of what it will really take, especially on the Home Front, to win World War II. He closes by saying, "I think we can win this war, but not until we dig in more earnestly and more unselfishly than we're doing now."

Stapled 8.5” x 11” periodicals (with 16 or 24 pages per issue including covers). Printed on glossy paper. Includes black & white photographs, charts and drawings. Staples have been removed.

Note: Minor wear and tear, except issues no. 7 and 8 which has some water staining.
