Scope: Periodic newsletter written and published by the United Aircraft Corporation "...for its employees: Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, Hamilton Standard Propellers, Chance Vought Aircraft, Sikorsky Aircraft, Pratt & Whitney Aircraft Corporation of Missouri and United Aircraft Service Corporation." Primarily includes aviation news, especially related to company products, as well as some internal company news.
Contents:
- Issue No. 2 (April / May 1943, 24 pages): TBD. Includes two-sided insert page titled "Wishing Won't Win the War" by George McDonald and "reprinted from Boeing News." McDonald was a Boeing Service Engineer who had supported B-17 units in combat and he shared his "blunt assessment of what it will really take, especially on the Home Front, to win World War II. He closes by saying, "I think we can win this war, but not until we dig in more earnestly and more unselfishly than we're doing now." Insert also in the Dec 1942/Jan 1943 issue.
