Scope: Company newsletter published by the Wright Aeronautical Corporation. Special 25th Anniversary issue celebrating "25 Years of Progress". This beautifully illustrated magazine traces the progress of flight and airpower in planes with Curtiss-Wright engines. Heavily illustrated with photographs and specially-created drawings and paintings.
Contents: Includes information on the "family" history of the company (from the Wright brothers) and the role each department plays in creating and building aircraft engines. Has sections titled: "They Had the Ideas: The Engineers & Planners"; "Ideas Become Engines: The Workers and their Tools"; Engines Become Air Power: The Outside World" and "Today & Tomorrow: War and Post-War".
Includes 8 page center section illustrated with full-color prints of water color paintings, 1 per page. Section is titled "A Gallery of Air Power: Presenting A Series of Paintings of Wright-Powered "Firsts" in World War II" with original paintings by Frank Lemon.

Stapled 8.5" x 11.5” periodical (40 pages including cardstock covers). Printed on semi-glossy paper using black and goldenrod ink. Includes black & white and goldenrod & white photographs and drawings. Staples have been removed.
Note: Includes 8 page center section illustrated with full-color prints of water color paintings, 1 per page.
Note 2: Overall excellent condition, with minor cover wear.
