Scope: One metal radial engine front master rod for a Pratt & Whitney R-2800 (Series B) Double Wasp airplane engine.

Contents: The master rod has been chrome-plated and modified with the addition of a Pratt & Whitney emblem on one end and an embedded analog clock on the other end. Came in two parts: the master front rod and a 1.5" (H) x 18.5" (L) x 3/8" (thick) steel hanging plate with two bolts.

Format & Physical Description

One front master rod, approximately 17.5" long with an 7.875" diameter round end. Rod has been chrome-plated. Housed in the center is a glued in quartz clock with a 3.75" diameter. At the narrow end is a circular Pratt & Whitney metal emblem. Mounting plate included.

Production Data

Manufacturered between 1941-1960 by Pratt & Whitney for their R-2800 Double Wasp engine B-series, first produced and delievered to the United States Navy on November 11, 1941.
