Scope: Full-color lithographic print from an original painting by an unknown artist. Artist signed the painting, however we have yet to confirm the signature (likely Mimms). Work was likely done in the late 1950s, as similar works are from 1958.

Contents: Depicts a Pan American World Airways [Pan Am] "Clipper" aircraft in flight over Paris.

Note: This print came from the Douglas Aircraft Company, Long Beach, CA and was given to the donor in the 1960s. It likely came from company engineering offices and was disposed of during construction/renovation of the facility.

Format & Physical Description

Framed color lithograph print, approx 16" height x 20" width. In a dark teal frame. Frame is lacking glass.

Decal on the back reads: "B-Q Co., Long Beach 433-1445, No. 6248, Name: Thompson".

Note: Some minor spill remnants on print due to lack of glass protection.
