Note: This item includes 3 loose-leaf photcopied pages. The first is titled "Appendix G, Health Hazards of Aviation Gasoline" with "1945" written in ink at the top of the page and page # 62 and "Restricted" printed on the page. The second loose-leaf page has a paragraph labeled "C.F.R Engine Lean Rating Method," also has "1945" written in ink at the top of the page and page # 54 and "Restricted" printed on the page. These are likely to be pages 54 and 62 of the 1945 version of this document. The third loose-leaf page is titled "Errata--Contd.", has a table labeled "Summary of Current AN Fuel Specifications" and has "1947" written in ink at the top. This page is likely to be an errata page from the 1947 version of this document.

Scope (from Note on page 2): "Provides information concerning the more important properties of aviation fuel, and covers in particular those properties which are of most interest to the user of the fuel. This booklet was first issued during the latter part of World War II and was produced on contract at the joint request of the U.S.A.A.F. and Bureau of Aeronautics, U. S. Navy. The first issue is out of print and this edition has therefore been revised and amplified to include discussion of turbine (jet) fuels."
