Scope: "This manual must be used in conjunction with T.O. 1C-97D-1-1 to obtain all the necessary information for safe and efficient operation of the C-97D and C-97K airplanes. T.O. 1C-97D-1-1 is a technical order containing the performance data. These instructions provide you with a general knowledge of the airplane, its characteristics, and specific normal and emergency operating procedures. Your flying experience is recognized, and therefore, basic flight principles are avoided."
