Publication Data
Compiled and published circa late 1940s to early 1950s by Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, a Division of United Aircraft Corporation, East Hartford, Conn. Clearly an early edition as there is no "edition" label. The publication date is supported by 1) DC-4 & DC-6 annotations; 2) references to NACA vs. NASA (which places this prior to 1958) and the fact that most of the data relates to piston-driven engines, with only brief data on turbine engines.
Note: Made available to the general aviatiion community "Compliments of Pratt & Whitney Aircraft".
Note 2: Donor Albert Volk's name and address are written in ink on page 1, along with emergency contact information for Mrs. Volk. Phone number format further supports dates in the 1940s to early 1950s. There are numerous hand-written notes throughout.
Preservation
Preservation Level 4.D. Recommend digital preservation & conservation in conjuntion with other work in the collection.
Note: Recommend removing wire binding when time permits.
