Training manuals

 Subject
Subject Source: Art & Architecture Thesaurus
Scope Note: SCOPE: Documents comprised of collected instructions designed to inform the performance of specific tasks. //

NOTE: In an aeronautical or aerospace context, instruction manuals are often developed and approved by the manufacturer, authorized training school, civil or military authority or other authorized entity to train aircrew and technicians on building, installing, retro-fitting, upgrading, operating, or maintaining aeronautical and aerospace vehicles and equipment. They are almost always explicitly labeled as "not approved for use as technical data" as they may be too general, or updated too infrequently, for use in place of current technical data.
